In relation to activity carried out by a Rota lawyer before the ecclesiastical court, the dispute concerning the contract for intellectual work between an Italian citizen and a Rota lawyer does not alter the civil nature of the "inter partes" relationship, with consequent jurisdiction of the Italian court.
